New Jersey Police Exams

Approximately half of the police agencies in New Jersey fall under the jurisdiction of the New Jersey Civil Service Commission. The commission requires applicants to take the NJ Law Enforcement Exam (LEE). The LEE is provided by EB Jacobs and is essentially the same as the LEAB exam by EB Jacobs.

Smaller agencies belong to the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP). These agencies use the NCJOSI for their entry exam.
