What is the Chicago Police Written Test?

The Chicago Police Officer Exam (CPOE) is of the more difficult police written tests in the U.S. due to the wide range of topics that are covered. Thousands of people apply each year for the prestigious position of Chicago Police Officer, so careful preparation is required if you want to rank higher than the competition.

You have 2.5 hours to answer 80 questions on cognitive topics and 120 questions about your personality.

How to Pass the Chicago Police Written Test?

The Chicago Police Written Exam uses the NCJOSI (National Criminal Justice Officer Selection Inventory.)  There are 10 cognitive topics on the exam:
