What’s on the CBP Officer Entrance Exam
CBP Officers work in a fast-paced environment at 328 ports of entry throughout the United States. They are responsible for border security, including counterterrorism, customs, immigration, trade, and agriculture.
To be hired, you must first pass an entrance exam. The entrance exam measures your mental ability to perform the job functions of a CBP Officer. It is a 4 - 6 hour exam that consists of logical reasoning, arithmetic reasoning, writing skills, and a work style assessment.
Applicants who qualify at the GL-9 level are not required to take the entrance exam.
